A downloadable game

This is a simple arcade style game for the NES, made in just under 3 hours (and just under 4 kilobytes). Use the D-pad inputs to avoid the red and purple creatures, collect the colored diamonds (which give you 5000 points) and 1UP item (+1 life), and try to get the highest score. Press START to restart once you're out of lives - you can see how many you have in the top right.  Every 30000 points you get is one extra life.

To play this game you'll need an NES emulator, you can download one or use the very good online emulator here (controls are arrow keys to move, and ENTER to restart).  (Or, if you're really invested, play it on a real NES console!)
